Continental verge fusee with ornamental dial, key wind and set, gilt plate movement with pierced and engraved balance bridge, in a silver colored alloy, consular open face case and Arabic numeral, white enamel dial with polychrome enamel scene featuring buildings along the shore, blued steel hands, 53mm, c1830.
CONDITION:
CASE: Shallow dents; Minor scratches on outer surface of case; MInor scratches on crystal; Pendant with burrs at holes for bow. DIAL: Small flakes in enamel, at case catch and edge, 8:00; Chip in enamel at winding arbor; Minor losses to enamel decoration. HANDS: Incorrect replacements. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Coqueret with oxide; Steel with minor oxidation; Very dirty. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks).
